Welcome to Chick Holsters!

“Let a woman be a woman… with a gun.

Chick Holsters is a company that began with you, the woman in mind.  At Chick Holsters we strive to make quality, comfortable and practical gun holsters for personal concealed carry, with an added “chick” flare.  Our goal is to provide you with a holster that is comfortable enough to wear from sun-up to sun down, allowing you to keep your safety within arm’s reach. All of our holsters are unique in their style, from the fabric that we use to the embellishments that we add to make them “chick” for that personal touch.

We currently offer you two holster carrying options– the “Thigh Carry” and “Ankle Carry”.  Our holsters are each handmade here in the USA.  We strive to make a high quality product.

GUN SAFETY:

Here at Chick Holsters we feel it just wouldn’t be right to have a site that even mentions firearms, without at least mentioning one of the most important aspects–Gun Safety. Even if you come away with nothing else from this website, we hope you walk away with the knowledge and the passion on the importance of not only knowing, but practicing good gun safety habits. Whether you ever own a gun or not, we strongly encourage you to educate yourself and those around you on good gun safety rules. And families with children are no exception. There are classes and home curriculums available to you that have been designed specifically for children, to teach them the appropriate actions to take when encountering a firearm.

Practicing good gun safety habits does in fact help prevent accidents from happening. If you are uncertain where to locate information on gun safety, please check with a local gun group or club such as the NRA to find out where safety classes are being offered near you.

Here are a few basic and important safety rules to remember when in contact with a firearm:

1. Muzzle Control–always point the gun in a safe direction

2. Keep your finger off the trigger–rest the finger on the trigger guard or side of the firearm until the gun is pointed in the “safe” zone and you are ready to fire

3. Always treat any gun like it’s a loaded gun. Even when you know it’s not, never stray from the safety rules.  Accidents are just waiting to happen when these safety rules are overlooked or not practiced. Reality has shown that at some point someone will forget or not realize a bullet is in the chamber when they didn’t expect. Play it safe and treat each gun like a loaded one.

Remember–you are the best safety that your gun can have. All other safety devices are mechanical devices that can fail and must not be relied upon. So please educate yourself and put into practice good safety habits–at all times–for the protection of yourself, as well as those around you.
